How many cartons of each extra should I order?
Start from your own order counts, then divide by the carton quantity and round up to a whole carton. Your POS or order history is the most reliable source, because every venue's mix is different.
Use a different count for each extra:
- Stirrers: count takeaway hot drinks that go out with sugar or need stirring, not every coffee sold. Divide by the carton quantity of 10000.
- Forks: count takeaway meals that need a fork. Venues that also hand out loose forks with salads or desserts should add those orders. Divide by 2000.
- Cutlery pouches: count takeaway and delivery orders that leave with cutlery. If you pack the bamboo fork inside the pouch, the pouch count and fork count should track each other closely. Divide by 1000.
- Tray sleeves: count catering trays sent out per week or per month. Divide by 50.
